September 02, 2017 08:55 AM PDT
In America, both J.J. Watt and Colin Kaepernick are getting what they deserve. The Conservative Case For Treating Big Social Media Like Big Tobacco
September 02, 2017 08:42 AM PDT
Or Big Oil. Or Big Government. There is no difference.
One conservative impulse is to bristle at intervention of seemingly free markets like tobacco, oil, and now even social media. Another should be to treat them like trusts and bust them, particularly Big Social Media.Former CO St. Sen. Ted Harvey / Pundit Scott Jones - The Tami Jackson Show
August 29, 2017 07:59 PM PDT
My first guest on the Tami Jackson Show* tonight will be Ted Harvey.
Ted Harvey is a former Colorado State Senator, representing District 30 from 2007 to 2015. Harvey did not seek re-election in 2014.

As the son of a Vietnam era fighter pilot Senator Ted Harvey has an undying passion to preserve the freedoms and liberties that generations of men and women have sacrificially secured for this nation. Ted’s father flew 110 missions in Vietnam; he was one of the first 20 men to fly twice the speed of sound. To Ted his father was larger than life. Unfortunately, his father's life was cut short by a heart attack at the age of 38.
Ted grew up in Colorado Springs where he attended Air Academy Junior High and High School. He completed his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and a Masters from the University of Colorado at Denver’s Graduate School of Public Affairs.
In 1987, at the age of 22, Ted received a political appointment to serve in the White House of President Ronald Reagan.
Ted returned to Colorado empowered by the vision of the Reagan Revolution and committed to defend the foundational values of our nation.
Listen as Ted Harvey and I talk about "Hurricane Harvey," Houston, all of the effected areas in Texas and the Trump administration's response.

Branco / Blogger Jeff Dunetz - The Tami Jackson Show 7PM PT
August 15, 2017 08:02 PM PDT
My first guest on the Tami Jackson Show* tonight will be A.F. Branco, political cartoonist.
Antonio F. Branco, founder/owner of the site Comically Incorrect, was born in 1956 in Fort Bragg, California, and raised in a small California logging town (in the Mendocino county) called Point Arena. He joined the US Army MP Corps in 1975 and was honorably discharged in 1978.
Branco attended Woodland Hills college briefly before moving to the Northwest. His beginnings in cartooning came while working at a sawmill in Sedro-Woolley Washington.
His ability to frame life in picture created a humorous environment, depicting his bosses and coworkers in exaggerated, but realistic scenarios. Signing “Guess who” kept the cartoons a mystery.
Following the yearnings of entrepreneurship, he decided to take his creations to the next level in the formation of A.F. Branco Designs. His political passion would be displayed on t-shirts and hats.
Other projects he was involved in were musical. His band Tony and the Tigers, played at gigs all over the Pacific Northwest.
Flash Forward to today, A.F. Branco has taken his two greatest passions, (art and politics) and manifested them into the cartoons that have been seen all over the country, in various news outlets including “Fox News” and “The Washington Post.” He has been recognized by such personalities as James Woods, Sarah Palin, Larry Elder, Lars Larson, and even the great El Rushbo.
Branco describes himself as “somewhere between the Far Side and the right side of every issue.” He sits at his desk daily crafting comically and politically-incorrect cartoons that say with humorous satire what conservatives really think, but lack the opportunity to say to a broad audience.
After years of listening to the squeaky wheel of the left advancing the cause of radicalism, Branco decided to use the power of his bully palette to advance the conservative movement. Conservatives worldwide can be glad he did. According to Branco, “The art and humor of political cartoons has since the dawn of the Republic been a way to sway those who might not otherwise be persuaded.”
Listen in as Antonio "Tony" Branco and I discuss how he fell into cartooning, and timely topics and how they inspire him.
My second guest tonight will be my friend, pundit Jeff Dunetz.
The conservative voice from the People’s Republic of New York, Jeff Dunetz is a bit of a fish out of water: a New Yorker, a Jew, and a conservative.
Jeff often mixes a dash of shpiel political theory, religion, and New York attitude in his political news and commentary which can be found at at his own sites, Lid Blog and Lid's Vids , at MRCTV.org, and at his weekly political column in The Jewish Star.
Dunetz also hosts his own show, The Lid, every Wednesday at 2PM ET on SHR Media.
Jeff is hands down not only a seasoned political commentator, but truly one of the most knowledgeable writers concerning Israeli/American relations. And as most of my listeners have discovered, Jeff Dunetz is one very funny guy.
Listen in as Jeff and I discuss his latest columns: "Did North Korea Get Engine For Its New ICBM From Russia?," "Kim Jung Un BLINKS! Backs Off Of Guam Threats," and more.

Their primary mission is to provide evidence-based art therapy programs to veterans and military family members dealing with PTSD and related mental health conditions due to service-related trauma, loss, and grief.
Bridget Cronin comes from a family of combat veterans who have served in nearly every war from the American Revolution to our current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Her own career in organizational management, fundraising and marketing spans 28 years in the private sector, non-profit world and in local elected office for ISD 199.
Bridget and I will talk about the occurrence and treatment of PTSD in our military veterans. Listen in and discover how you can help those who bravely served our country!
